Assessment Result

• Provisional Recommended Geopark Guide for six months after passing assessment
• The Geopark Guides list will be uploaded to the website of Recommended Geopark Guide System, Hong Kong Geopark and distributed to other global geoparks and tourism organisations
• Recommended Geopark Guide (R2G ) after six months probation
• Biennial reassessment
  

Disqualification

Failed to pass the probation period or the biennial assessment or have been determined to have acted unethically to visitors or tour participants.

Fee

All administrative staff, Assessment Board and Advisory Committee members are volunteers. Applicant selected for interview has to pay a non refundable fee of HKD750 for administration costs including assessment venue rental.

Applicants who have successfully passed the assessment will be granted a R2G certificate, a R2G hat and a HK Geopark Logo badge. R2G needs to pay for his/her own tailor-made uniform (about HKD250 per set) and a R2G metal identification badge (about HKD200).
